/ Why should I hire you when I have a designer or a company that I already use?
Great question. Do you feel like your website, no matter who it was designed by, is meeting its full potential? Are you frustrated at your lack of sales conversions or the amount of time your customers are spending on your website without buying anything? A lot of this has to do with underlying problems such as the navigation, the way a page is laid out, and even small things like making sure buttons look like buttons. I've seen a lot of websites designed by companies or individuals that miss many of these things because they were designed by what I would call a visual designer. They can make something look good, but they don't always think of the implications to your customer's experience. I focus on the customer's experience first, THEN focus on how it looks.

I am a User Experience Designer and Product Strategist by trade. Similar to how an architect plans and creates the bones of a building, I plan and create the bones of a website. I utilize data, user testing, accessibility, and web design best practices to make informed design decisions based on customer behaviors. Most of what I work on isn't seen by the customer, but it makes their time on your website a good experience. It's a more data-driven design role than a traditional web designer.
